Grandparent's Day

The finished product. I'll be helping with refreshments
for Grandparent's Day at Tristen's school and have to bring
some along. As you can very well tell, I was too lazy to create
my own or do from scratch. We were at an auction most the day-
that is my excuse.

These little guys are waiting to be put on the cookie
sheet to be baked.

Bo encounters lollipop

Bo woke from his nap and quietly went to the candy
stash from story hour and found a purple lollipop. He quietly
took it back to his room and was enjoying it when I found him....
purple. I made the mistake of cleaning it off before taking damage
control pictures. Take my word for it, the sticky purple was covering his
chin and his whole right cheek.

Halloween costumes

As you can see, Tristen is Spiderman and Bo chose
to be a toad today but can also pass as a dinosaur or
a monster, which ever he chooses.

Story Hour Halloween party

They practiced 3 songs to sing to us.

All were very cute

The Growing Wind Farms

There are 2 up now.

Wisely they have made their offices as barns to go with
the rest of their surroundings.

What a sight. Even with a huge hill between us you can still see them from the farm and our house.

Beginning our walk
Nature is beautiful
My shadow
I didn't include the picture of deer I took

Apple pie.......continued

So here is the finished product. It smells great!

1st ever Apple pie

I apologize for not taking pictures as I prepared
my 1st ever Apple pie but here it is in the oven cooking.
Thank You Lynn for such easy directions, it gave me the
courage to try it. I will take a picture when it is done. You
may notice that at one point I had the lattice going and then
I lost my pattern somewhere along the way.

Wind farms

We went to Nancy Petsche's house for T&B to get haircuts and
I was pretty curious to see what has taken place with the
erection of this wind farm going up right at her house so I carried
along my camera and this is what I found. I was a bit disappointed.
I thought at least one would be standing, but nope.

Bow hunting deer

Getting ready for bow hunting season, which starts
October 1st and goes thru January sometime.
